Dear Friends of Aria’s Pride,
As the holiday season wraps us in its warm embrace, we find ourselves reflecting on a journey that has filled our hearts with gratitude and pride. Today, we are thrilled to share the incredible news that, in our very first year participating in the St. Jude Walk/Run in Charlotte, NC, our dedicated team, inspired by the courage of our little warriors, has raised an astonishing $19,378!
For those who may not be familiar, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital holds a beacon of hope for families facing the unimaginable. It is a place where the statement "treatment without a bill" is not just a promise but a commitment. At St. Jude, no family receives a bill for medical care, travel, housing, or food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
This mission resonates deeply with us, as our own Aria experienced the compassion and care of St. Jude firsthand at the Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital. The relief of not bearing the financial weight of medical bills allowed us to focus solely on Aria, providing her with the love and support she needed during her treatment.
Our fundraising efforts are a tribute to Aria’s journey and to every child who faces this battle with unwavering bravery. Every dollar raised helps ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food—because all they should focus on is helping their child live.
The outpouring of support we’ve seen has been nothing short of inspirational. To our walkers, runners, volunteers, donors, and cheerleaders: your generosity has made a tangible difference in the lives of so many children and their families.
